Hi my name is Shauna Ostrander. I live in Omaha, Nebraska with my husband Dave and my dogs, River and Remi. I am a quilting and sewing enthusiast, among many other things. My passion began at a young age when my mother bought me my first machine. I am thankful quilting still brings us together today.

In high school I was fortunate enough to have a myriad of sewing classes available. I took every single class; my senior year I was an assistant teacher. I loved every moment of it.

After high school I decided to pursue another dream of mine; cooking and baking in a professional atmosphere. Though quilting and sewing remained a large part of my life, somehow I always found time. After years of long and crazy hours and all the hustle and bustle of the kitchen I decided it was time to move on and follow a new passion, longarm quilting.

With the help of mentors and donation quilts I honed my long arming skills. In January 2022 I decided to open Spinning Spool Quilting Company. I provide various service such as long arming, binding, and custom t-shirt and memory quilts to quilted accessories. I am forever grateful for where this journey has taken me and I look forward to sharing my creativity!
